Emergency Court Maintenance

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Franklin County Municipal Courthouse will be closed to the public on Wednesday, September 23, Thursday, September 24, and Friday, September 25, 2026, due to emergency building maintenance.
The Court is expected to resume normal operations on Monday, September 28, 2026.
During the closure, the Court will continue to hold in-custody arraignment hearings, including its regularly scheduled Saturday, September 26 arraignments. Due to the maintenance work, the public will not be admitted into the courtroom gallery for these hearings.
Probation staff will work remotely and remain available to supervisees and the public by phone and email. The Self-Help Center will be closed during this period.
All other cases scheduled for September 23 through 25 will be continued to a later date. Parties will receive written notice of their new court date by mail. The Court's docket, available at https://www.fcmcclerk.com/case/search, will also be updated with specific continuance dates as they are scheduled.
The Clerk’s Office will have bond and bail payment services available to the public during this time. Criminal and Traffic phone lines will remain open. E-filing portals will continue to remain open.
