Civil marriage ceremonies are performed at the Duty Judge's discretion Monday through Friday by appointment only.
To schedule an appointment, please complete the request below or call the Duty Room at (614) 645-3889. Prior to the ceremony, a processing fee of $25 must be paid on the 3rd floor of the Civil Division at 375 S. High St., Columbus, OH 43215. The marriage license, marriage certificate, and fee receipt must be provided on the day of the ceremony. Couples are permitted up to 16 guests to attend the ceremony.

The Franklin County Municipal Court is not the only location where a ceremony can be performed.
