Arraignment Court

The first appearance in Court is called an Arraignment Hearing in which the Defendant is provided an opportunity to plead guilty, no contest, or not guilty before a Judge or Magistrate.

Environmental Court

Judge Stephanie Mingo and the Environmental Court staff are committed to ensuring that Franklin County remains a safe place to live, work, and raise a family.

Eviction Court

An eviction is a legal process in which a landlord removes a tenant from a rental property for breach of a rental agreement.

Small Claims

The Franklin County Small Claims Court hears cases for money damages that do not exceed $6,000.

Traffic Court

Traffic Arraignment is the first opportunity for a person to appear in court to answer to a traffic charge or allegation with a plea.

License Suspension / Limited Driving Privileges

If you have a non-compliance or 12-point suspension and you meet all the requirements, you may request limited driving privileges from the Court to drive to and from work and for family necessities.

Specialized Dockets

The mission of the Specialized Docket Department is to enhance public safety, rebuild lives, and reduce recidivism through restorative justice, while providing community education and support.
